About
Our connection to the natural world often gets buried beneath an avalanche of responsibilities and priorities.  After time, as we slowly lose sight of the natural relationships that support us, the fabric of life we all rest upon begins to unravel.  Yet, even in our own backyards, beyond the drums of civilization, we are often momentarily reacquainted with nature.  Perhaps the fluttering wings of a butterfly or a chattering wren are enough to engage our minds around interconnectedness. Through photography, this site represents one group's attempt to reawaken and inspire the natural connection that so many of us seem to misplace.  Our planet is home to a vast and wondrous collection of organisms and habitats.  Biodiversity is a cause for celebration.  Our mission is to capture images that spark curiosity and foster a desire to explore our natural world.  We face an unprecedented rate of extinction, and this is only the beginning.  The time to rediscover our natural heritage is now.  We hope you enjoy the images as much as we have enjoyed collecting them.
